Bats and Pangolins
I have put bats and pangolins together for convenience simply because I don’t have many pictures of either one. They are both ungulates, but that puts them only as close together as other Ungulate Orders, such as even- and odd-toed ungulates, carnivores, primates, and shrews.
The Seychelles flying fox is so impressive. It looks more like a flying dog than anything else. They are huge and found only in some Indian Ocean islands.
Pangolins are the most trafficked animal in the world, prized for their scales which are used in a soup in Asia, especially China.
